There are different types of laser engraving machines in the market today but the most common are Co2 lasers and fiber optic lasers. Most engraving shops invest in Co2 lasers as the variety of engraving jobs these lasers can accomplish covers the widest range of substrates. Fiber optic lasers are geared more toward metal and some types of plastic engraving.
